It is my privilege to forward onto you an invitation to hear Immaculee Ilibagiza
share her testimaony of survival, faith, forgiveness, and restoration. She is a survivor of
the Rwanda genocide and has written her story in the book "Left to Tell."
Some of you have read the book from the book forum at Women's Celebrate. I thought
it was gripping and inspirational. I strongly suggest that if you haven't read it you
stop by The Carpenter on Main Street in Little Chute and pick up a copy before the event!
Shouts of Joy Ministries Updates
Rwanda Ministries
Shouts of Joy Ministries is making plans this Christmas season to host Eric Irivuzumugabe and
his brother Mugabo Egide for two months. We are going to have the brothers come to share about their
personal testimonies of faith and forgiveness as they came out of the terrible circumstances of Genocide.
Mogabo was one of four people who survived the Gishari Akarere Ka Rwamagana massacre, where an estimated
12,000 people gathered at the government site for protection. The government and the Interhamwe joined
together to exterminate the Tutsis gathered there. Out of 12,000 only four survived.
The cost for bringing the two young men here, including their tickets and their stay, will be $6,000.00.
We need to raise this amount before we can purchase the tickets, so please pray about helping out. We are
looking at bringing them in early Novemebr to escape the high travel fares during the Holiday season. So we
will need to have most of the contributions in by the first week of October.

killed at the Gishari Massacre site.
God has His eye on Rwanda and He is restoring her people with the love and power of Jesus Christ! We at
Shouts of Joy Ministries are so happy and blessed to be able to be a small part of that. Thanks to you for
your prayer and giving, together we are able to make a difference.
If you would like to give via the internet (PayPal), please see the Contribution button on our website.

Main Street House of Prayer
Some of you may have noticed an extremely large poster in the Shouts of Joy Ministries office window that
says "For Sale or Rent". Here's the scoop. In August I was informed by the zoning commissioner of Little Chute
that Shouts of Joy Ministries and R2, which is the name for our Rwanda division of ministry, are allowed to
have their offices in the 106 Main Street location. We are not, at this time, allowed to hold any type of
service at that location. The owner of the building has allowed us to stay for a lower rent fee and
lease the location month by month if she can continue to try to sell or rent the store front for the cost
that she needs from it. This arrangement is making it possible for us to stay there at an affordable cost.
So the 106 Main Street location is temporarily our office. It will be interesting to see what God will do in
and through this situation. But for now, we are still in there! Thanks for your prayers and support.
